Today the Island Princess is in Vancouver docked at Canada Place. It spends most of the year in Central America, but in the summer it hits the Alaska route.
The Island Princess cost $330 million to build and is the sister ship of the Coral Princess. In this video I said it about 50x, but its a big one (at least for the ones that come to Vancouver).
It’s got the usual luxuries that you would expect in a $330m ship like a swim-against-current pool and onboard golf.
The Island Princess is 964 feet long, 91,627 tonnes and holds 1970 passengers & 900 crew.
This actually is not the first ship in the Princess fleet called the Island Princess. There used to be another one, but it has now been renamed Discovery.
