The Tahitian Princess is called a “small ship” by Princess Cruises, and it certainly is compared to the big ones like the Coral Princess.

Here it is at Canada Place in downtown Vancouver waiting to head up to Alaska.

It’s a little on the windy side but a storm was a-brewin’.

The Tahitian Princess spends most of its time in the French Polynesian Islands (no surprise from the name) but in summer it hits the Alaska route. Here’s some stats:

  • 30,277 tonnes
  • 593 ft 10 in
  • 826 passengers capacity

Apparently in 2009 it is going to be renamed the “Ocean Princess” which makes sense I suppose.

Have you been on the Tahitian Princess? Did it seem “small” or were you happy with it?
